Columbus (Sept. 9, 2009) - Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) President Barbara J. Howard has re-appointed David C. Practicing in the area of civil litigation, Tryon concentrates his practice in the fields of intellectual property; commercial, contract, and real estate law; and mechanic’s lien and construction disputes. Tryon has been a visiting lecturer at Cleveland State University on trial advocacy. In addition to his OSBA committee work, he has served on the OSBA Council of Delegates and as president of the Cleveland area’s Federal Society for Law and Public Studies. Tryon is also active in his community. He is a past member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., an executive board member for the Boy Scouts of America, and a past board member for the Brecksville Chamber of Commerce. Tryon resides in Broadview Heights with his wife, Sandy, and daughter, Lindsay.

The Ohio State Bar Association, founded in 1880, is a voluntary association representing approximately 25,000 members of the bench and bar of Ohio, as well as nearly 4,000 legal assistants and law students.  Through its activities and the activities of its related organizations, the OSBA serves both its members and the public by promoting the highest standards in the practice of law and the administration of justice.
