Congratulations to our winners!
The Ohio State Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section are pleased to present the winning entries to the Law Day 2010 Video Contest.
The winning video in the grades 5-8 category was “iTeam Investigates Jury Duty”submitted by fifth graders on the iTeam at Monfort Heights Elementary School in Cincinnati. The video creatively explored jury duty with the criminal trial of The Big Bad Wolf.
In the grades 9-12 category, the entry “Your rights if stopped, questioned or arrested by the police” was selected the winner. Arien Wolf-Knight and Tucker Jones, 11th graders from Oakwood High School in Dayton, mixed written information and dramatic depiction to inform the viewer about what to do if questioned by law enforcement.
A singing puppet made of cardboard made the winner of the adult category stand out. Chris Wetzel, 23, of Strongsville created Stan and the rap “You’re Eighteen”to entertain and inform about the legal responsibilities that come along with turning 18.
What is Law Day?
