The OSBA has been the state leader in helping Ohio's lawyers integrate in to the legal profession and meet their New Lawyer Training (NLT) requirements. Learn about the Supreme Court's NLT requirements and the many NLT courses the OSBA offers to help you satisfy these requirements.
Please note that the OSBA advertises its CLE programs months ahead of time in order for attorneys to better plan for their CLE needs. Thus, not all programs have been approved for CLE credit by the Supreme Court of Ohio. As a result, there may be discrepancies between the list of courses we advertise on our website and those OSBA programs listed on the Supreme Court of Ohio website (which only lists those courses formally approved for CLE credit).
Please note: Beginning Jan. 1, 2014, new lawyers may fulfill their New Lawyer Training requirement by viewing live webcasts of programs approved for New Lawyer Training credit. However, you cannot use other forms of self-study, i.e., on-demand seminars, to satisfy your NLT requirement.
