The Ohio State Bar Association is accredited by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Certification of Attorneys as Specialists to certify lawyers as specialists in Elder Law. Please note that the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) is also accredited to certify Ohio lawyers as elder law specialists. An Ohio lawyer may seek elder law specialty certification through the OSBA or NELF (or both).

Certification by OSBA and NELF
Any Ohio attorney wishing to become dually certified by the OSBA and NELF must satisfy the eligibility requirements of each organization.
