As part of the District 6 annual meeting on Nov. 14, the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) recognized Paul Valente for more than 50 years of service to the profession.
Paul Valente is a solo practitioner from Springfield, having previously served as a Judge Advocate General and Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and Ohio Air National Guard (1967-1996). Paul received his A.B. from Lawrence College and his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. In addition to being a member of the OSBA, he has served as the president of the Springfield and Clark County Bar Associations and as the chairman of the Clark County Bar Probate Committee.(Pictured from left to right: OSBA President (and Springfield native) Randall Comer, Paul Valente, and Judge Denise Moody, who is the District 6 Representative to the OSBA Board of Governors.)
During the meeting, which was held at the Courtyard by Marriott, William Hicks of Springfield was re-elected to the OSBA’s policy-making Council of Delegates for another two-year term starting in July of 2018.About the Ohio State Bar Association
