COLUMBUS (Mar. 4, 2014) - The president of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) will visit Byesville on Thursday, March 20 to speak to area attorneys about current issues facing the legal profession.
Dayton attorney Jonathan Hollingsworth, 2013-2014 OSBA president, will address the annual luncheon meeting of OSBA District 15 at the Cambridge Country Club (60755 Southgate Road, Byesville). OSBA District 15 includes 173 members who practice in Belmont, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson and Monroe counties.
Charles H. Bean, District 15 representative on the OSBA Board of Governors, will preside over the noon meeting, and Lindsey Donehue, president of the Guernsey County Bar Association, will deliver welcoming remarks.
Prior to the noon luncheon meeting and recognition, an optional 2.5-hour continuing legal education seminar will be offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Registration and continental breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m. Advance luncheon registration is $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and free for young lawyers. Advance seminar registration is $75 for members (including young lawyers) and $95 for nonmembers. After March 13, $25 will be added to the total registration fee.
