COLUMBUS (Feb. 24, 2014) - The president of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) will visit Lancaster on Tuesday, March 11, to speak to area attorneys about current issues facing the legal profession.
Dayton attorney Jonathan Hollingsworth, 2013-2014 OSBA president, will address the annual luncheon meeting of OSBA District 9 at the Lancaster Country Club (3100 Country Club Drive SW, Lancaster). OSBA District 9 includes 505 members who practice in Coshocton, Fairfield, Knox, Licking, Muskingum and Perry counties.
J. Kristen Burkett, District 9 representative on the OSBA Board of Governors, and Paul R. Hensley, president of the Fairfield County Bar Association, will preside over the noon meeting, which will include the election of one member to the OSBA Council of Delegates.
Following the noon luncheon meeting and election, an optional 2.5-hour continuing legal education seminar discussing financial planning and the financial planning profession will be offered from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Advance luncheon registration is $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers and free for young lawyers. Advance seminar registration is $75 for members (including young lawyers) and $95 for nonmembers. After March 4, $25 will be added to the total registration fee.
