Karen D​. Adinolfi​, Roetzel & Andress, was sworn in on June 21, 2018, as the President-Elect of the Akron Bar Association. She will assume the role of President of the Akron Bar Association in July 2019.
Bradley S.S. Dunn​, Regional Director of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, was the recipient of the 2018 John Goodwin Jr. Big Heart Award from The University of Akron Black Law Student Association.
Robert W. Malone​, Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, was the recipient of the 2018 Leadership Akron Lieberth Community Vision Award.​
Magistrate Thomas Freeman​, Summit County Juvenile Court, was elected president of the Ohio Association of Magistrates for the upcoming year.
Jaime U. Kolligian​​, Kastner Westman & Wilkins, LLC, was named to serve on the Board for United Disability Services in Akron and the Cleveland Advisory Board for the Ohio Diversity Council.


Sheldon Berns​, Berns, Ockner & Greenberger, LLC, was the recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.


Hon. Taryn Heath, Stark County Common Pleas Court, was elected to Ohio Common Pleas Judges Association Board of Trustees.


Steven P. Goodin​Graydon Head & Ritchey LLPwas appointed to the Board of Directors of the USO of Central and Southern Ohio.
John B. Pinney, Graydon Head & Ritchey LLP​, was appointed by the American Bar Association to serve a three-year term on its Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary as representative for the Sixth Circuit.


Hon. William F.B. Vodrey​, Cleveland Municipal Court, was the recipient of the Oberlin College Alumni Medal.
Stanley D. Prybe​, Ulmer & Berne LLP, was appointed to serve on the steering committee of Worldwide Employee Benefits Network.
Mario C. Ciano, Reminger Co., LPA, was the recipient of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association William K. Thomas Professionalism Award and the 2018 ORT America Jurisprudence Award.​
Russell J. Meraglio, Jr., Reminger Co., LPA, was appointed as Grand Jury Foreman for the Lake County Common Pleas Court.
Brian D. Sullivan, Reminger Co., LPA, was elected President of The Lawyers Guild of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.
Julian T. Emerson, Reminger Co., LPA, was named to the National Bar Association’s 2018 “40 Under 40” list. 
Reminger Co., LPA was named to Vault's “Top 150 Under 150” and “Best Midsize Law Firms for Diversity” lists for 2019.
Stephanie E. Dutchess Trud​eau​, Ulmer & Berne LLP, became President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation on June 1, 2018.
Deborah A. Coleman​​, Coleman Law LLC, is a recipient of the 2018 American Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award.


Chad A. Endsley, Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, was elected President of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus.

Acacia Perko, Reminger Co., LPA, was named to the Advisory Board of Commonhouse Ales and co-chair of her firm's Women's Initiative.

D. Michael Crites, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, was appointed to a bipartisan judiciary advisory review commission to help identify candidates to fill vacancies on the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio.

James G. Kozelek, Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, was elected Chair of the Board of Directors for First Service Federal Credit Union.

Donald L. Mason, Roetzel & Andress, was appointed to the Kent State University Board of Trustees.

Patricia Schabo, Franklin County Common Please Court, received the 2017 Norma J. Mitchell Award from the Central Ohio Association for Justice.

Hon. Michael J. Holbrook, Franklin County Common Pleas Court, received the 2017 George E. Tyack Award from the Central Ohio Association for Justice.

Milton Sutton, Frost Brown Todd, earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.


Michael Mayer​, Faruki Ireland Cox Rhinehart & Dusing PLL, was selected as 2018 Forty Under 40 winner by the Dayton Business Journal.​


Hon. Joyce A. Campbell, Fairfield Municipal Court, was elected to the National Alliance on Mental Illness National Board of Directors.


Hon. Noah E. Powers II, Butler County Common Pleas Court, received the George J. Gounaris Award for Excellence on the Bench from the Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association.


Hon. Richard L. Davis​ (retired), was enshrined in the Highland County Historical Society Hall of Fame.

Mac Murray & Shuster was selected to the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms.


Katherine S. Decker, Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick, LLP, was nominated by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a candidate for its 2018 Man and Woman of the Year campaign. 
Renisa Dorner​, Spengler Nathanson PLL, was elected Chair of the Ohio Supreme Court Unauthorized Practice of Law Board, becoming the first woman to be elected in that role.
Hon. Denise Cubbon, Lucas County Juvenile Court, was named a YWCA of Northwest Ohio 2018 Milestone Honoree.
Sarah Skow​, Spengler Nathanson PLL, was named a YWCA of Northwest Ohio 2018 Milestone Honoree.


Hon. Michelle Miller, Jefferson County Common Pleas Court, received the Award of Excellence by the Ohio Common Pleas Judge’s Association at a meeting of the Ohio Judicial Conference​.


Kelly Johns, Reminger Co., LPA, was elected president-elect of the Mahoning County Bar Association.​
