The Leadership Academy was designed for the OSBA to identify and train lawyers for future opportunities for leadership in the Association, the profession, and their community. Within six interactive sessions, participants are introduced to prolific speakers and are given the opportunity to discuss engaging topics such as:
- How to Connect and Be Effective on Multiple Levels;
- A 360° Look: What Kind of Attorney Am I?
- Branding Yourself;
- The Importance of Professionalism and Civility; and
- The Business of Lawyering, a Commitment to Access to Justice and Community Service.
They are also given the support to enhance many important skills like writing and public speaking. By graduation, they are transformed into problem solvers and effective lawyer leaders.
