Leadership Academy was designed for the OSBA to identify and train
lawyers for future opportunities for leadership in the Association, the
profession, and their community. Within six interactive sessions,
participants are introduced to several prolific speakers and are given
the opportunity to discuss engaging topics such as:
- How to Be Effective with Clients, In-House Counsel, Partners and Judges;
- Addressing Clients' Needs: The Partner's View Point, The Associate's Viewpoint; and
- Branding Yourself: How Lawyers Can Use Social Media and Traditional Marketing.
are given the support to enhance many of their important skills,
including writing and public speaking. By the time that they graduate,
they are transformed into problem solvers and effective lawyer leaders.
