OSBA makes staff changes

Mary Amos Augsburger, executive director of the Ohio State Bar Association, announced two staff changes.

“We’re always looking at ways to strengthen our ability to serve our members,” said Augsburger. “The staff changes we announce today provide us with expanded expertise to allow us to do just that.”

Todd Burch joins the OSBA as continuing legal education (CLE) program manager. He will be responsible for developing and implementing CLE courses for OSBA members in live and online formats.  He most recently served as program manager for high school mock trial and moot court programs for the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education, where he prepared curriculum for professional development opportunities for teachers and attorneys and provided hands-on coaching for mock trial teams.

Burch earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Cincinnati and his juris doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. His legal experience includes criminal law, family law and litigation. Burch and his wife, Kara, reside in Columbus (43204).

Lynda Morris has been promoted to CLE Program Coordinator. Morris, who has been a member of the OSBA staff for 10 years, previously served as administrative and conference assistant. In her new role, she will assist with the development and implementation of CLE courses. Morris attended Kent State University. She and her husband, Bob, reside in Dublin (43017).
