On Friday, Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m., citizens across our nation and the great state of Ohio will observe a minute of silence to remember the victims of the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, which claimed the lives of 20 first grade students, and seven adults at Sandy Hook Elementary.
This remembrance will occur exactly one week after the tragic event. At continuing legal education events across Ohio on Friday and at the Ohio State Bar Association office, OSBA staff and CLE seminar attendees will observe this moment of silence.
“As we celebrate the holiday season with our own friends and family, it is important to reflect on the events of last Friday and send our thoughts and well wishes to the victims and their families,” said Ohio State Bar Association President, the Honorable Patrick F. Fischer.
We invite all OSBA members to also participate.
