Email and website help
Daily/weekly option, enhanced customization
You have the option of choosing to receive a daily or weekly version of the new electronic OSBA Report. To do this, go to the Settings page and select either daily or weekly email delivery. (If neither one of the boxes is checked, you will not receive the electronic version.) Members who are not already receiving the OSBA Report email can easily sign up for it by the selecting daily or weekly delivery options. Additionally, those members who no longer wish to receive the print version of the OSBA Report can select to “unsubscribe” and receive only the online version.
While you are on the Settings page, you can also customize your case summary results by selecting only the practice areas and/or courts that impact your practice. Once you have selected your settings, be sure to click the save button at the bottom of the Settings page, which will apply your customized settings to the email, website and your mobile devices. You can update or change your settings at any time.
If you customize your email, you will only receive emails on the days or weeks that contain summaries from your selected practice areas or courts.
Another feature available on the OSBA Report website is the green Favorite button. As you scan each day’s summaries on the website and mobile site, you can click a case summary Favorite button, which will save that summary on your Favorites page for future reference.
If you miss an email or fall behind, all case summaries, beginning Jan. 1, 2012, are archived by both day and week on the website.
A link in the top menu bar allows you to switch between the daily and weekly views. An arrow button in the upper right corner of the site allows easy access to previous days’ or weeks’ summaries. The Search page also allows you to select your own date range to search and also allows you to search for summaries by practice area, court or your own keyword.
The website is also designed to be compatible with mobile devices. The OSBA Report is now easily accessible on a smart phone or tablet without sacrificing any functionality. Simply click on the OSBA Report link from your mobile device or go to ebar.ohiobar.org and you will be directed to the site. Bookmark or save the site to your home page for easy access.
