The cost of exhibit space includes much more than just the actual physical dimensions of your booth. The Ohio State Bar Association provides a wide range of additional opportunities and services to help make this your most productive and profitable exhibit in the Ohio legal marketplace.
The OSBA Annual Convention is the largest gathering of legal professionals in Ohio. Do not miss this opportunity to showcase your products and services to more than 1,000 Ohio lawyers.
The OSBA takes steps to ensure exhibitor traffic and maximize the return on your investment. Attendees are given the opportunity to enter a prize drawing by visiting exhibits and having a ticket validated.
Convention registration, voting, continental breakfasts and morning/afternoon breaks are all located in the exhibit area, and the popular complimentary Friday luncheon is served in the Exhibit Hall as well. Our goal is to make certain your time at our Convention produces results.

Note: Full payment is required to hold booth space. No refunds will be given after April 4, 2014. Exhibit space reservations are processed in the order received. The OSBA will use best efforts to accommodate your requests for space.
Exhibit booth price Includes:
- 10' deep x 10' wide exhibit booth with 10' backwall and 36" high draped side rails.
- One (1) 6' draped display table with two (2) chairs.
- Company identification sign (7" x 44").
- General overhead lighting.
- Pre-convention registration list, emailed 2-3 weeks prior to the event.
- Two (2) tickets for the following special events:
- Annual Luncheon on Thursday;
- President-elect’s Reception on Thursday; and
- Lunch with Exhibitors on Friday.

All equipment must be removed by 4 p.m. No exhibitor will be permitted to dismantle prior to the official close of show.
Assignment of space
Exhibit space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis determined by receipt of the registration form (see insert) and payment of the full exhibit booth fee. Classification of exhibits and assignment of space will be determined by the character of the proposed exhibits and individual requirements and preferences as to location of each Exhibitor. Exhibitor acknowledges that the OSBA reserves the right to reject a request for booth space and to assign booth space at its discretion. Once space has been approved by the OSBA, no exhibit booth will be moved without the consent of the Exhibitor.
Please note that utility connections are not included in the booth rental. Rental of utilities, booth carpet, furnishings, shipments, special sign service, high-speed Internet access, etc. will be handled by the George E. Fern Co., 1500 Old Leonard Ave., Columbus, OH 43219-2509, (614) 253-1500. A link to the Exhibitor Service Kit will be emailed to you upon receipt of your registration form and payment of the exhibit booth fee. Charges shall be payable directly to the George E. Fern Co. and shall indemnify and hold harmless the OSBA from any liability arising from installation, servicing and/or dismantling of any of their services.
Cancellation by Exhibitor
Exhibitor is hereby given the right to cancel this agreement at any time prior to 5 p.m., Eastern Time on April 4, 2014. Such cancellation to be effective when written notice thereof is received by OSBA. In the event of such cancellation, all rights, duties, liabilities and obligations hereunder shall thereupon terminate and OSBA agrees to return to any Exhibitor rental fees paid it by the OSBA, minus a 10 percent service charge per booth. No refund will be made if notice of cancellation is received after the time and date described above, unless the space has been resold, in which case the Exhibitor will be entitled to a refund less the service charge. Please also note that no refunds will be given for booth space not utilized.
Cancellation of Convention
Upon cancellation of the convention, the liability of the OSBA shall be limited to a full refund of the exhibit space rental fee paid by Exhibitor.
The OSBA undertakes no duty to exercise care, nor assumes any responsibility for the protection of property of the Exhibitor or its representatives, or of property used in conjunction with the exhibit from theft or damage or destruction by fire, accident or other cause. Small and easily portable articles shall be properly secured or removed after exhibition hours and placed in safekeeping by the Exhibitor. In addition, the Exhibitor acknowledges that the OSBA does not maintain insurance covering Exhibitor’s property and that it is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain business interruption and property damage insurance covering such losses by Exhibitor.
Distribution of Circulars and Advertising Matter
Each Exhibitor or representatives/employees of Exhibitor agree that circulars or advertising matter of any description may only be distributed within the space assigned to the Exhibitor presenting such material. Distribution of materials in seminars, food functions, etc. is strictly prohibited. No firm or organization not assigned space in the Exhibit Hall will be permitted to solicit business without prior approval of the OSBA.
